When you submit an enquiry one of our team will be in touch with you to discuss preferred dates and gain further understanding of your event in order to give you a quotation. We can look into availability and hold your preferred date in our diary.

In order to confirm your booking, we will require the following from you:

  • A signed and initialled Agreement within 14 days of issue
  • Initialled Terms and Conditions
  • Payment of the 50% deposit within 30 days; full venue hire received 60 days before the event
  • Signed Freedom of Speech Code of Practice
  • Copies of Public and Employers Liability Insurance certificates
  • Risk Assessment tailored to your hire

Yes. Whilst most of our availability is out of term time, we do hold plenty of events during term time. Please send us the details of your enquiry with your preferred dates using our website enquiry form or by emailing venuehire@rcm.ac.uk and one of our team will be in touch.

Our practice and teaching rooms can be hired outside of term time only.

Yes. We do offer our students as performers, if you would like to hire one of our talented musicians please be in touch with our Creative Careers centre at: engagements@rcm.ac.uk.

Pianos are available to hire in majority of our venues, we also have a dedicated team who can provide a service to tune the piano for you. We do not hire out percussion at the Royal College of Music.

Yes. The Amaryllis Fleming Concert Hall, Britten Theatre, and Performance Hall are great spaces for recording. Our experienced Studios team provide technical support to ensure high quality, professional recordings.

The Royal College of Music does not have a dedicated car park however there are plenty of parking facilities for your event guests available, we do have loading bays for deliveries that can be booked when you hire the venue. Car parking facilities close to The Royal College of Music include: Imperial College Parking, Prince Consort Road street parking or Hyde Park Parking.

All of our performance spaces have wheelchair access.

Yes, the RCM is a licensed venue for:

  • selling alcohol
  • theatrical performance
  • showing a film
  • live music performance
  • recorded music performance
  • dance performance
  • dancing facilities
  • facilities for making music
