Yes. Whilst most of our availability is out of term time, we do hold plenty of events during term time. Please send us the details of your enquiry with your preferred dates using our website enquiry form or by emailing venuehire@rcm.ac.uk and one of our team will be in touch.

We do not offer hire of our practice rooms which are reserved for our students, however our Upper and Lower studios located in Markova House (just a few minutes walk from the Royal College of Music main building) are perfect spaces for rehearsals. Yes. We do offer our students as performers, if you would like to hire one of our talented musicians please be in touch with our Creative Careers centre at: engagements@rcm.ac.uk.

Pianos are available to hire in majority of our venues, we also have a dedicated team who can provide a service to tune the piano for you. We do not hire out percussion at the Royal College of Music.

Yes. The Belle Shenkman Studio is our principal recording space and available to hire. The 90m2 live room is equipped with variable acoustic wall panels and provides a high quality performing environment for classical and other recordings. Our studios team can also offer you support at an additional cost.

The Royal College of Music does not have a dedicated car park however there are plenty of parking facilities for your event guests available, we do have loading bays for deliveries that can be booked when you hire the venue. Car parking facilities close to The Royal College of Music include: Imperial College Parking, Prince Consort Road street parking or Hyde Park Parking.

When you submit an enquiry one of our team will be in touch with you to discuss preferred dates and gain further understanding of your event in order to give you a quotation. We can look into availability and hold your preferred date in our diary. If you decide to confirm your event with us, we will send you a contract to sign and full payment of the venue hire fees will be required.

In usual circumstances we welcome show-rounds of our spaces if you are interested in hiring our spaces. Currently due to Covid-19, we are focusing on giving Virtual Site Visits. We hope to be able to welcome you to the college for site visits as soon as it is safe to do so.

All of our spaces have wheelchair access.
