Coronavirus (Covid-19)

The health and wellbeing of the RCM community is our top priority, and protective measures have been put in place to help ensure the safest possible use of the building at this time. This includes requiring all staff and students to wear facemasks, revised capacities and enhanced cleaning.

We are pleased to have achieved the ‘Good to Go’ accreditation from Visit Britain. The Good to Go mark is the official UK-wide industry-standard accreditation to signify that a business has worked hard to follow Government and industry COVID-19 guidelines and has a process in place to maintain cleanliness and aid social distancing.

The team at the RCM have been delivering safe activity all within public health guidelines. The Good to Go mark highlights our total commitment to upholding more than just legal compliance. We go above and beyond with our health and hygiene protocols. We continue to monitor the situation closely and will update policies as the situation progresses.

We are continually revising capacities, and please do get in touch to know the latest numbers for each venue. The capacities advertised on the website are the full capacities and do not take into account any restrictions.

To reduce the number of people in the building, we will only be offering a show round of the venue for specific events that: have a date on hold in the diary, have completed a virtual show round, have agreed to our terms of booking and when Government restrictions permit. We appreciate your understanding.

Please follow advice on protecting yourself against Covid-19 via the official channels such as the NHS 111 service or the government’s website.
